The conical base gives this bong a large water capacity which means you get great filtration producing a clean smoke. It also gives this bong a low center of gravity making it sturdier when rested down.
A 2 part diffuser down stem is included with this bong which diffuses the smoke creating lots of small bubbles and provides better filtration of the smoke.
The 8 arm percolator adds another level of filtration and also forces the smoke to travel further which helps the smoke to cool down.
There is also the option of using ice with this bong due to its ice dimples which further helps to cool the smoke and produce smooth hits.
