Originally a small family printing firm producing perm papers for the hairdressing industry in the 1970s RIPS moved to its current home, a modern factory in Cheltenham, in 2007. Within a few years of its formation RIPS started to manufacture cigarette papers on rolls, beginning with the Regular Red and Kingsize Blue brands. The first rice paper product, the slim width Green, was launched in 1986, followed in 1993 by a 100% hemp paper.
The Xtra Thin range made its first appearance in 2005 and just a year later, having invested a considerable amount of money in new equipment designed to more effectively seal the packs, the first of its flavoured range was introduced.

Flavoured - the extensive range includes Blueberry, Vanilla, Cola, Banana, Bubblegum, Cherry, Mint, Peach, Chocolate, Grape and Strawberry. All are available in 4m long rolls x 44mm wide.
Organic Slim - this 100% organic hemp with Arabic gum paper is sold on 4m long rolls x 44mm wide
Unbleached - a great chemical-free unbleached paper with minimal after taste and natural gum to ensure easy rolling and sealing. Single rolls are 4m long x 44mm wide.
Red Regular - featuring pure rice paper and natural Arabic gum, this product is available in single rolls or wholesale boxes of 24. Each roll is 7m long x 37mm wide
Blue Kingsize - this pure rice paper is available in single rolls or wholesale boxes of 24.Individual rolls are 5m long x 53mm wide
Green Slim - another pure rice paper product which is available in single rolls or wholesale boxes of 24; rolls are 5m long x 44mm wide
Extra Thin Silver - this is a pure rice paper with natural Arabic adhesive. Available in 5m rolls, Regular 37mm wide, Slim 44mm wide and Kingsize 53mm wide.
Hemp Slim - RIPS 100% hemp rolling paper with Arabic gum can be purchased in a single 5m roll x 44mm wide or in boxes of 24 rolls.
